Mary Rowe came from Co. Clare Ireland, where over a 25 year period she owned three spas. The last 15 years she spent in the famous Dromoland Castle Hotel, one of the world's leading resorts. Mary came to the United States in 2005 and fell in love with Topsail Island and its people. She believes that the Island possesses immense healing, and she wanted to share that wonderful feeling with everyone so Inis Spa came to life May of 2008.

Somewhere between a rough hewn stone wall and gleaming hard wood floors one enters into another world, a haven of calm, tranquility enhanced by the sounds of flutes and fiddles surrounded by the scent of citrus oils. Each room is named after the famous Aran Islands of the west of coast of Ireland. 

We are a holistic spa and our philosophy is that the health of the body and spirit comes from healing and relaxation, which is reflected in our treatments. We specialize in several modalities massage, reflexology, reiki and facials. Inis is honoured to have a wonderful staff of therapists that have immense experience and share the same caring philosophy. We dedicate our time, knowledge and experience and invite you to come feel the difference at Inis Spa.

Andrea Case is our Massage Therapist who specializes in Sacred Lomi-Lomi and also performs Deep Tissue and Pre-Natal massage. 

Amber Davis and Darcy Jones are our Massage Therapists who focus on Injury Rehabilitation, Deep Tissue, Pre-Natal. Amber also specializes in Cupping Bodywork Therapy.

Connie Devine and Pamela Whaley are our Estheticians who specialize in holistic facials, waxing and body treatments.


Joelle McCarter is our hair stylist who specializes in corrective color, designer cuts for both men and women and extensions.

Aneka Spicer and Julie Weisgerber are our nail technicians here at Inis Spa. 

Dale DePue is our Pilates instructor and offers classes here at Inis twice a week.

Karen Vaughn is our Acupuncturist here at Inis. She has trained in Australia and China and uses Classical Chines Acupuncture techniques. She is here on Friday afternoons only.

Mary Rowe is the Owner, Esthetician, Reflexologist and Reiki Therapist who specializes in Holistic European facials. Mary is at the Spa full time for appointments and consultations and looks forward to sharing her insight and knowledge she has gathered in several countries including Ireland, France, China and here in America.
